My name is Jessica, and I am a designer in Edmonton, Alberta. I am recognized as an Associate RGD Member with the Registered Graphic Designers of Canada. During my undergrad, I kickstarted my design career leaping into the world of student journalism, designing magazines for The Gateway, the University’s Journalism Society.

Before the merger of Kobot Industries and Sticks in April 2022, I designed accessible and user focused websites at Kobot, and created illustrations for Kobot’s blog.

Now, I am a senior designer and web strategist at the Edmonton agency Sticks & Stones, where I lead web strategy and web design, presenting to our clients, drafting strategy documentation, and designing for any client need.

I've been designing for web since 2019, but will always have a place in my heart for print design. I’ve continued this passion as an independent freelance designer when available, for projects ranging from exhibition catalogues to branding projects, educational resources and editorial illustration.

In 2023, I served as a judge for the RGD’s Student Design Awards in the category of Web Design.

As a designer, I am dedicated to fine tuning the tiniest of details, asking a lot of questions throughout the process and checking in often, so that my decisions are always grounded by practicality and understanding.

When I am not designing, you can find me with my family and our little dog, Duney.
